Payment Accounts and Online Payments

An organization on Mangobeds can have multiple properties and also multiple payment accounts. In order to manage your payment accounts, navigate to your organization > payments. Here, you can view all the payment accounts associated with your organization.

You have the flexibility to use the same payment account for multiple properties or set up different payment accounts for each property.

Once a payment account is selected and linked to a property it can not be removed mainly because all the guests and payments will be linked to that account.

Setting up a Payment account for online payments on Mangobeds is quick and easy. Follow these steps to start!

Step 1: Access Property Settings

First, log in to your account. Navigate to the dashboard and select ‘Settings’ from the menu. This area allows you to manage all the details related to your property.

Step 2: Set Up Payment Account

Within the ‘Settings’, you’ll find the ‘Payment Account’ section. Click on the ‘Set Up Payment Account’ button to get started. You will be able to use an account from your organization or create a new one. Selecting a new one may redirect you to a new webpage where you can configure your payment settings.

Step 3: Enter Your Details

Mangobeds connects to a wide range of payment providers, including PayPal, Stripe, Mercado Pago, PayU, Razorpay, Airwallex, Toss Payments, Tilopay, Pagadito, PagBank, Xendit, PayHere, Bold, Eximbay, 2Checkout and more. The exact details you enter depend on the provider you pick, and the setup form automatically shows the right fields for that provider.

Most providers ask for credentials you generate inside your own account with them, such as an API key, a merchant or client ID, and a secret key. A few are simpler. With PayPal, for example, the only information needed is the email address where payments will be sent. Others, like Stripe, walk you through entering your company or personal information and your bank account details so that payments land directly in your account.

Whichever provider you choose, have your account credentials and bank details handy before you start, then follow the on-screen labels for each field. If you are unsure where to find a value, you can usually copy it from your dashboard in that provider’s website.

Step 4: Configure Additional Settings

Once your payment information is set up, you can also modify your booking configurations in the Booking forms.

Choose whether to require a deposit at the time of booking and determine the amount. This can secure bookings and reduce no-shows.

Setting up your online payments not only streamlines your booking process but also makes it easier for guests to secure their stay, enhancing their overall booking experience.

Get started now and take your property management to the next level with Mangobeds!
