Getting Started with MangoBeds

Welcome to MangoBeds, the property management software optimized for colivings! Follow these steps to set up your account and get started. Automate things and save time for what really matters: The community.

Step 1: Create an Accommodation

First, you’ll need to add accommodations to your property.

  1. Navigate to the Accommodations Section:
    • Go to the main dashboard.
    • Click on Accommodations.
    • Select your property and click on Accommodations.
  2. Add a New Accommodation:
    • Click on New Accommodation.
    • Fill in the required details such as accommodation type, name, and description.
    • Save your new accommodation.

Step 2: Create a Booking Form

Next, set up a booking form to start accepting reservations.

  1. Create a Booking Form:
    • Navigate to Booking Forms.
    • Click on New Booking Form.
    • Customize your form with details like minimum and maximum stay durations, room types, and policies.
  2. Embed the form on your website if needed.
    • Go to the booking forms page and click on “Add to my website”

Step 3: Create a Booking

Create a booking manually as an admin.

  • Navigate to bookings.
  • Click on New Booking.
  • Add the units you want to book and the guest details. You only need to add the first name to create the booking
  • Check if all details are correct and save the booking.

Step 4: Invite Team Members

Invite your team members to help you manage your property.

  1. Go to Team Settings:
    • Navigate Settings.
    • Click on Team.
  2. Invite Members:
    • Click on Invite Team Members.
    • Enter their email addresses and assign roles.
    • Send the invitations.

Step 5: Add Extras

Enhance your offerings by adding extras like breakfast, cleaning services or Airport pickup

  1. Navigate to Extras:
    • Open the sidebar.
    • Select your property and click on Extras.
  2. Add New Extras:
    • Click on New Extra.
    • Enter details such as the name, description, and price.
    • Save the extra.

Step 6: Set Up Online Payments

Configure online payments to start accepting payments directly through MangoBeds.

  1. Navigate to Payment Settings:
    • Go to Properties.
    • Select your property and click on Settings.
    • Click on Setup Online Payments.
  2. Set Up Payments:
    • Follow the instructions to create your Stripe Account.
    • Enter necessary details such as tax ID and VAT rates.
    • Enable online payments.

Step 7: Create a Long Stay Discount

Encourage longer stays by offering long stay discounts.

  1. Go to promotions
  2. Click on New Promotion.
  3. Choose Long Stay Discount.
  4. Set the discount parameters and save.

Step 8: Create a Seasonal Rate

Adjust your pricing for different seasons.

  • Click on Accommodations
  • Click on an accommodation.
  • Click on New Seasonal Rate.
  • Set the rate and duration for the season, then save.
