This past month was holiday season, hope you had a fantastic time! We were busy behind the scenes making MangoBeds even better. We added awesome stuff like Organizations, easier subscriptions, and the new Housekeeping app. Jump below to check everything out!
We added organizations!
Every coliving is a different world, some are big, some are small, and some have multiple properties and locations. MangoBeds was originally designed to support only one property per coliving, which was limiting in many ways and made managing multiple properties a hassle.
That’s why we added organizations, a new layer on top of your properties where you can manage multiple properties and locations.
What you need to know:
- Now, managing members and their access is handled at the organization level
- Your MangoBeds subscription is also managed there
We improved the subscription!
Previously, you needed a separate subscription for each property, which wasn’t fair in some scenarios. For example, if you had one property with 15 rooms and another with 5, you’d need two subscriptions: one “up to 20 rooms” for the first, and another “up to 10 rooms” for the second.
Thanks to organizations, you can now create as many properties as you want up to the total number of rooms in your plan. In the above scenario, you’d only need one “up to 20 rooms” subscription!
We believe this helps support colivings and makes things simpler as managing a coliving is already complicated enough.
Speaking of simplicity, we also simplified how we classify accommodations. From now on, new accommodations will just be “rooms” instead of choosing between “rooms” or “beds.” You can still offer a “bed in a 6-bed room,” for example, you just won’t need to select the type. We’ll keep supporting older “bed”-type accommodations for now, so if you have questions, please contact support@mangobeds.com
Multiple payment accounts to charge guests
Another big feature with the new organizations structure! Now you can manage multiple payment accounts for each of your properties. So, if you have properties in different countries with different currencies, or just need to use different entities to charge guests, you can handle it all from MangoBeds.
Booking.com app
Some colivings use Booking.com to fill gaps or add other sources of revenue. Now, with our new Booking.com app, any booking created, updated, or canceled on Booking.com will sync with MangoBeds, rooms, prices, guests, and all!

Non-automated email templates
Now you can create email templates that aren’t sent automatically. This is super helpful for colivings that frequently send similar emails to guests. Learn more here
Housekeeping app
The new Housekeeping app is ready! It lets you create and automate tasks based on your bookings or other schedules, like cleaning rooms at checkout or shopping for groceries.

Check-in before/after date in coupons
Now you can select specific booking dates that coupons apply to. Great for creating special seasonal deals like summer, Christmas, or any special promotions!
🐛 Other bug fixes and features
Some small features and bug fixes we’ve implemented:
- On the bookings calendar, you can open a booking in a new tab, so you don’t lose where you are
- Improved charging guest payments
- Add extra guests to bookings
- Better email deliverability
- Improved application of seasonal rates and long-stay discounts when adding a booking manually
