Redsys Connection Guide with Mangobeds

Redsys is the payment gateway behind virtually every Spanish bank (BBVA, Santander, CaixaBank, Sabadell, Bankinter, Unicaja, Abanca, Kutxabank and more). If you run an accommodation in Spain, you can now connect Redsys to Mangobeds and charge guests with the card-acquiring contract you already have with your bank, while keeping clean reconciliation in one place.

There is no separate Redsys signup and no new contract: you simply reuse the terminal (TPV) your bank already gave you and paste three values into Mangobeds.

Before you start (what you need)

  • An active card-acquiring contract with a Spanish bank (your bank’s Redsys terminal / TPV).
  • Three values from your bank’s Redsys portal: your merchant code (FUC), terminal number, and SHA-256 secret key.
  • Your Mangobeds property currency set to EUR and the property country set to Spain.

Where to find your Redsys credentials

  1. Log in to your bank’s Redsys admin portal, usually called Canal del Comercio or Módulo de Administración.
  2. Open your terminal (TPV).
  3. Copy the merchant code (código de comercio / FUC), the terminal number, and the SHA-256 signature key (clave secreta de firma).

Each bank’s portal looks slightly different, but the three values are always there. If you can’t find the SHA-256 key, your bank’s Redsys support can regenerate it for your terminal.

How to connect Redsys in Mangobeds

  1. Go to: Property → Settings → Payment Accounts → Connect Payment Account.
  2. In Create a new payment account, choose Redsys as the provider.
  3. Paste your Merchant code (FUC), Terminal, and SHA-256 secret key.
  4. Save to create the payment account, then Connect it to the property.

Heads-up: once a property is linked to a payment account, you can’t swap providers on that property without removing the connection first.

How a guest payment works

  • Mangobeds redirects the guest to the Redsys secure hosted page.
  • The guest pays by card and completes 3-D Secure authentication with their bank.
  • Redsys notifies Mangobeds automatically once the payment is authorized.
  • Mangobeds marks the booking’s payment as Succeeded and sends you the usual property notification.

Wrap-up

Connecting Redsys lets Spanish properties take card payments through the bank they already work with, on a checkout guests recognize, with every payment reconciled back to the booking automatically. Grab your FUC, terminal and SHA-256 key from your bank’s Redsys portal, paste them into Mangobeds, and you’re live.
