PayU Latam – Connection Guide with Mangobeds

If you host in Latam, you can now charge guests through PayU right inside Mangobeds. This provides local rails, cards, and reduced friction for both Colombian and international guests. (For now, PayU is available only in Colombia in our integration.)

Before you start (what you need)

  • An active PayU Colombia merchant account.
  • Your PayU Merchant ID, Account ID, API Login, and API Key (find them in your PayU dashboard under Configuration).
  • Your Mangobeds property currency set to COP or USD.

How to set it up in Mangobeds

  1. Go to: Property → Settings → Payment Accounts → Connect
  2. In Create a new payment account, choose PayU as the provider.
  3. Fill the required PayU fields (from your PayU dashboard):
    • PayU Account ID
    • PayU Merchant ID
    • PayU API Login
    • PayU API Key
  4. Save to create the payment account, then Connect it to the property.

Heads-up: once a property is linked to a payment account, you can’t swap providers on that property without removing the connection first.

Wrap-up

If you operate in Colombia, connecting PayU in Mangobeds lets you take payments with minimal friction and clean reconciliation.
