PagBank Connection Guide with Mangobeds

If you host in Brazil, you can now charge guests through PagBank (PagSeguro) right inside Mangobeds. Guests pay with Pix, boleto, credit card and installments (parcelamento) through PagBank’s hosted checkout, while you keep clean reconciliation in one place.

Before you start (what you need)

  • An active PagBank (PagSeguro) account.
  • Your PagBank API token.
  • The email of your PagBank account (used to label the account in Mangobeds).
  • Your Mangobeds property currency set to BRL (Brazilian Real).
  • API access enabled on your PagBank account. PagBank requires you to request access to their Orders / Checkout API before it works (see below).

Where to find your API token in PagBank

  1. Log in to your PagBank account.
  2. Go to Vender → Integrações → Token de segurança (or generate it from the developer portal at developer.pagbank.com.br under Credenciais).
  3. Generate the token and copy it. If a token already exists, PagBank may send it to your registered email.

Heads-up: the API token is the secret half of your credentials, so treat it like a password. Don’t share it over email or paste it into chat.

Enable API access on your PagBank account (important)

PagBank gates its Orders / Checkout API behind an approval step, so a new account cannot use it until PagBank enables it. If a payment fails with “allowlist access required, contact PagBank”, your account has not been approved yet. Contact PagBank support and ask them to enable API access (Orders / Checkout API) for your account. Once it is approved, the connection works.

Supported country

PagBank is available for properties in Brazil, settling in Brazilian Real (BRL). Guests can pay with Pix, boleto, credit card and installments (parcelamento).

How to set it up in Mangobeds

  1. Go to: Property → Settings → Payment Accounts → Connect Payment Account.
  2. In Create a new payment account, choose PagBank as the provider.
  3. Paste:
    • PagBank Account Email
    • PagBank API Token
  4. Tick the box confirming you’ve read this guide.
  5. Save to create the payment account, then Connect it to the property.

Heads-up: once a property is linked to a payment account, you can’t swap providers on that property without removing the connection first.

How a guest payment works

  • Mangobeds redirects the guest to PagBank’s hosted checkout page.
  • The guest pays with Pix, boleto, credit card or installments.
  • PagBank notifies Mangobeds automatically once the payment is confirmed.
  • Mangobeds marks the booking’s payment as Succeeded and sends you the usual property notification email.

Wrap-up

If you host in Brazil, connecting PagBank to Mangobeds gives your guests the local methods they expect (Pix, boleto and installments) through a secure hosted checkout, while keeping your ops tidy with automatic payment reconciliation. Grab your API token, connect, and you’re live.
