Managing Long Stay Discounts in Mangobeds

Long stay discounts help you encourage longer bookings (weekly, monthly, etc.) without touching your base rates.

Create a Long Stay Discount

Go to Promotions > Long Stay Discounts
Click New one
Select the accommodations you want to apply it to
Set the discount parameters and save.

What you’ll typically fill in:

  • Name (example: “Monthly Discount”)
  • Min. Nights (example: 30)
  • Discount % (example: 15)
  • Accommodations (tick the ones you want)

Editing an existing discount

Open the discount, update Min. Nights / Discount % / selected accommodations, and Save.

Want the discount only for certain dates?

Long stay discounts don’t include a date range in the promotion settings, so they apply anytime the stay matches the minimum nights.

If you need a “timeboxed” discount (e.g., only in March), the clean workaround is to use Coupons or Seasonal Rates for that date range.

Where long stay discounts apply

Long stay discounts created in Promotions only affect bookings made through your Mangobeds booking forms.

If you’re selling through channels / OTAs, configure long stay discounts inside the Channel Manager app → Channel settings (and/or directly on the OTA, depending on the channel).
